BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Golden to straw. Rich, mature, complex nose, with pears, lemon curd, orange peel, camomile, and hints of dried nuts and Mediterranean herbs. Mature palate, with an intense nutty character. Long and mineral, if slightly overripe on the end. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Pale gold, of old hue. Some generalized fruit here; some faint tiredness also. This seems faintly oxidized. Concentrated, intense, and secondary, with lots of chewy, earthy depths, and some pineapple and sharonfruit. A serious and compelling wine which doesn’t seem oxidized on the palate. Not hugely charming, for all that; but concentrated and challenging. | 89

Michael Palij | Tough and marginally oxidized nose, showing tired notes of overripe fruit and dilute citrus character. This is a travesty of Timorasso. | 78
