Bruno Besa | Pale straw. Open, floral, and mineral nose. Clean, with yellow and white fruits and lemon peel; also mineral, with fresh basil and sage undertones. Clean, fairly complex palate, with sweet citrus fruit and a balanced, fairly long finish. | 90
Andrew Jefford | Pale steel-gold. Fresh, clean, and relatively simple in aroma, though amply attractive. A fuller lemon than some, though not detaining. Fresh, poised, and lively on the palate, with ample lemon and apple. Structured and good, with depth, purity, and drive; liable to be better with some bottle age, too. Very attractive on the palate, but I can’t quite give it a top score without a little more aromatic intrigue and charm. | 89
Michael Palij | Intense aromas include star anise, Sichuan pepper, mandarin, grapefruit, Conference pear, and Red Delicious apple. Ample fruit on the palate, although it is tinged with excessive skin contact that may be employed to augment what seems to be an absence of fruit. Would be more convincing without the obvious hand of the winemaker. | 85
