BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Pale golden yellow. A slightly closed yet ripe, complex, restrained, apricot and golden- apple nose, with hints of fresh and dried herbs. Muscular, intense, rich, ripe yellow-fruit palate, with a clean, mineral finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Slightly fuller gold than its peers, though still a pale wine. Relatively forceful fruit scents and a snatch of sneeze-inducing free sulfur, too. Fair only, though I’ll look again in five minutes. The sulfur does indeed blow off, but I am struggling to find much beneath it other than generalized orchard fruits. Concentrated and cleanly defined on the palate: sound and satisfying. | 84

Michael Palij | Tightly wound on the nose, showing red apple, nectarine, bay, yogurt, and almond. The palate is long and broad, with tinned peaches, guava, and litchee. Acidity is medium, leaving the fruit to create a textured mouthfeel, perhaps underpinned by skin contact. | 85
