BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Pale straw with golden highlights. Fairly ripe and clean yellow-fruits nose, with cooked apples, yellow plums, and hints of dried herbs. A ripe yet lively palate, with complex yellow fruit and a moderate, inviting finish. | 88

Andrew Jefford | Pale steel-gold. Sappy, creamy, and full, with some peach and pineapple richness, even a yogurty note. Still a primary style of Ribolla, but lots to like here and we are already moving beyond the reductive base point. Vivid and full on the palate, rather thrusting with a lactic (milky-sour) thickness. | 84

Michael Palij | Pronounced nose, but sporting confected notes of spun sugar, yogurt, hazelnut, toffee apple, and candied peach. The palate is completely dominated by the winemaking, and there is little fruit to drive home the finish. | 79
