BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan: Pale lemon color. Sweet, jammy and candy nose, with apricot, yellow apple, melon, and guava. Sweet and lusciously fruity palate, with a long finish. Nice evolution and age-derived complexity. | 88

Simon Field: Ripe, powerful, and sunny of disposition, vestigial summer red fruits in the ascendant. A child of its vintage, far from unassuming, the wine marries fruit, acidity, and texture with some aplomb and thereby declaims as a worthy ambassador of the varietal, for all its limitations. | 90

Tom Stevenson: Clean, rich and toasty, with fine high-acid yet mellow fruit, and really quite long. | 89
