Essi Avellan: Pale lemon. Highly floral and chalky nose. Sweet palate, with a stripped feeling to it. There does not seem to be much there. | 85

Simon Field: A whisper of reduction, blowing off quickly, then citric fruit, nectarines, and a lean, nicely honed finish, petrified elegantly. Composed and balanced, an interesting example, less overt than many of its peers but ultimately well made and not without potential, to evolve over the short term. | 90

Tom Stevenson: fine, fresh, intense, and long, but lacking yeast- complexing aromas; good rather than special. | 85
