BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan: Lemon color. Toasty nose with excess volatility. Sweet apricot and honey fruit. Richly bodied and fruity, but the lifted nature is too much. | 84

Simon Field: A deeper color than most, lazy autumnal wheat, and a suitably laconic bead, soon dissipated. Aromatics are a little troubled, volatile maybe, a touch reduced. The grip of oak and acidity do battle thereafter, hitherto unresolved and hard to cleave faithfully to the message. | 84

Tom Stevenson: A touch of acetone detracts from the aroma. Lovely rich fruit, high acids, good linearity. | 82
