Essi Avellan: Deep lemon-gold color. Richly aromatic nose, withatouch of oxidation over the appley and highly floral nose. The palate seems sweet for extra-brut, with big, fleshy body and ample, sugar-coated fruitiness. One-dimensional and misses finesse. | 84

Simon Field: Straw-yellow, with a potent, near-oxidized aromatic; decadent and raw, the bitter recollections of a very good party, late-harvest orchard fruit and a zesty cadenza, strawberry fool, and an abrupt ending. | 85

Tom Stevenson: Deepish color, looking a bit flat and lifeless. Oxidized fruit, with barley sugar on finish. | 78
