BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red; sweet, warm, leafy-fresh scents with a little medicinal intrigue. It’s fruited, with some exuberance, on the palate, and its acids are a little less insistent than for some of its St-Estèphe peers. | 84

Michael Schuster | Fairly closed to smell; nicely balanced, ripe-fruited, fresh and lightly tannic medium-full wine; a gently juicy ripeness of fruit here, brisk, tasty, refreshing, with a nice fruit core, a moderate complexity, and good length. Very attractive—not “grand” probably very fair value claret. It’s not “concentrated” but it’s not diluted either. Very nice claret. Now to 2027+ | 88
