Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red. Warm, resonant, gently autumnal fruits dominate the soft-focus but admirably ripe aromas. As with so many 2015s, sweet scents give way to a palate in which acidity is surprisingly prominent and likely to grow more so with the years, though in this case it is round and ripe and gives lift to the blackcurrant fruits (as soft-focus in style in the mouth as they were in aroma). The tannins are very soft here, and there is a little inner core of glowing ripeness, but at this stage of its life the wine is balanced, attractive, and modestly generous—a good early-stage pick. | 86
Michael Schuster | Fresh, savory Cabernet nose; medium-full, fresh in acidity, finely tannic—bright, savory wine, modest scope, medium length, but a tasty mid- rank claret. Supple, juicy, and very nice. Accessible fairly early. Now to 2027+. | 89
