Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Sweet, warm, and fresh, but the fruits are rather superficially defined and there isn’t any sense of depth or fruited penetration. There is some concentrated, frank, and forthright fruit on the palate but the style is rather cool and edgy. It’s a serious Gloria and will make lively, vivid mid-term drinking, but I wouldn’t keep it beyond 8–10 years or gauntness may threaten. | 86

Michael Schuster | Light red-fruit and gravel nose; medium-full, fresh, lightly tannic, a nice, easy, accessible balance; classic, gentle, ripe-fruited, flavory claret, moderate complexity, nice length, complete without being special, but likely to be good value. Nice, classic, claret. 2020–30+. | 89
