Andrew Jefford | Dark, opaque black-red. There’s a classy, perfumed style to the black fruits here; fresh, lifted blackcurrant with a little griotte-cherry sweetness. Very attractive aromatically: fine, light, singing; one of a relatively small number of Margaux wines that seem to live up to the appellation style in this regard. The fruits on the palate are smooth, gathered, and elegant, with fresh but not over-prominent acidity and fine-grained tannins. The ripeness is spot-on for the vintage. A wholly admirable Prieuré-Lichine, vinified with great intelligence. | 91
Michael Schuster | Sweet, refined, lightly oaky nose; very well-balanced, medium-full wine, fine in tannin texture, with a very nice freshly blackberry sweet core, a fine Margaux fruit, and good length. A touch of oak tannin still there, but this will be attractively refined, gently succulent Margaux in a few years. 2023–35. | 91
