Andrew Jefford | Deep purple-black. Generously ripe aromas, though at first with some farmy reductive notes qualifying the bramble fruits. These clear after a while, to give way to round-contoured and attractive black fruits with a little leafy freshness, too. Concentrated, soft-textured, and dark-fruited on the palate; this will make an attractive mid-term mid-weight. | 85
Michael Schuster | Closed, but freshly black-fruit ripe; full, supple, fresh, finely tannic; an elegant, graceful Belgrave, long, quite subtle, and with very nice scented length. An almost beautiful Belgrave, without a hint of excess, lovely and complete. So fine-textured, and almost drinkable now. Now to 2033+. | 89
