Stephen Brook | Medium-gold. The nose is shy, but there is appealing mandarin and apricot fruit. The attack is fruity and vivid, with an attractive texture, and a beguiling sweet and sour tone. Not an opulent style, but the citric tone brings refreshment. It’s well made and has charm, but it’s a touch simple. Quite long. | 88
Andrew Jefford | Deep gold in color, with big spoonfuls of dripping honeydew, cantaloupe, and pineapple sweetness on the nose. Deep, generously constituted, and intense on the palate, too, with those aromatic notes all resumed in a plump and voluptuous flavor, which is lent further intrigue by botrytis. This may not be super- complex, but with generosity of this order, who cares? | 90
