OenoHouse: A new fine-wine boutique in the City of London

By The World of Fine Wine Team

Multinational fine wine investment company OenoGroup is opening OenoHouse, a new fine wine boutique, at its City of London headquarters this month.

As the City of London begins to welcome back employees to the Square Mile, OenoHouse, a new fine wine boutique from the multinational fine wine investment company OenoGroup, is set to open its doors, offering a range of old, rare, and high-end bottles to buy and take home or to sample onsite.

First Growths on offer

Housed at The Royal Exchange, the store will stock a range that includes some of the OenoGroup buying team’s favorite names, such as Penfolds, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, and Liber Pater. The OenoHouse launch, which takes place on June 25, 2021, will feature wines from each of the Bordeaux First Growths, with attendees able to taste the highly regarded 2005 vintage from Châteaux Haut-Brion, Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild, Latour, and Margaux.

Facilities include a private 12-person tasting room and an outdoor terrace, while the OenoHouse team of experts is led by general manager Luisa Martinello, formerly the manager of Harrod’s wine shop, and assistant general manager Katerin D’Alfonso, ex-head sommelier at Browns Hotel.

The OenoGroup

The OenoGroup started its life in 2015, when Italian entrepreneur and wine expert, Daniel Carnio, founded OenoFuture, a “personalized wine advisory service.” It now comprises a trade wing, OenoTrade, as well as OenoHouse, and employs 36 full-time staff serving more than 3,000 private clients “from politicians and sports stars to billionaires” around the world from its offices in London, Madrid, Bordeaux, Tuscany, New York, and Munich. Its trade accounts include such famous names as L’Enclume, Bibendum, City Social, 67 Pall Mall, Cavalry and Guards Club, The Standard Hotel, The Cinnamon Club, Park Chinois, Wiltons, Meraki, Kahani, Heckfield Place, St Swithin’s Wine Shippers, RC Group, and Tosi.
