Essi Avellan | Medium-deep lemon color. Soft, youthful, super-fruity nose, with vanilla and red apple. Lovely toasty overtone on the sweetly fruity nose of sulfidic complexity. Fresh, fluffy palate, rounded. Sweet, gentle, soft finish, with fine carry. This is still very young, but already has emerging complexity. | 92

Alex Hunt | Very inviting toasty, nutty nose, with a sense of depth and power. The palate disappoints in comparison, with a lasting bitterness, and a blunt, simple flavor. | 82

Tom Stevenson | Pale color, lovely, slowly-evolved gunpowder-toasty notes. So fresh, as it should be for a relatively young NV. There is gunpowder on the finish, too. This is actually better than most pure Vintage 2006s. | 90
