Michael Schuster | Inky; densely ripe blackcurrant and subtle gravel to smell; generous, firmly tannic, a particularly full-bodied GPL, nicely restrained by its acidity; mouthcoating, ripe, warm, long and sweet to taste, velvet-textured, with lovely length following the overall amplitude, and very long to finish, with all the ripe fruit and subtle mineral aromas of the nose and palate. Most satisfying and complete—exhaustingly good. All the same, the tannin structure will need a decade at least. 2029–45+. | 92–94+
