Michael Schuster | finely fresh and nettle-crisp Sauvignon aroma, but gently gravelly, too—should make a lovely bouquet; rich, full, fresh, generous, easy, and accessible, but clearly with the extra freshness and energy brought by a high proportion of Sauvignon Blanc; ripely dry, fragrant, and mouthcoating, but without the tenacity of flavor, or the complexity, of a great year (like the 2017s here, for example); however, this is graceful, subtly complex, supple, and with good, light, aromatic length. But, to make a comparison with the Burgundy hierarchy, you feel this is a fine premier cru rather than the clear grand cru that it often is. 2022–35+. | 92–93+
