BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Semillon fat, rather than Sauvignon freshness to smell. Supple, full, easy, graceful; ripe, fleshy, and long, if without the aromatic excitement and race that a higher proportion of Sauvignon Blanc would bring, a gentle tenacity of flavor, but nice, sweet, peachy-ripe aromatic length. Beautiful and elegant without being grand, but a good, rather than a special, Clarté. Here, too, that easy, gratifying, immediately welcoming character that the group’s red wines have. Now to 2028. | 90–91
