BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Ample, refined, complex, and age-worthy. Great wine. | 96–97

Michael Schuster | Cabernet Franc subtlety, raspberry-fragrant, lovely to smell; rich, concentrated without excess, very fine-textured in tannin, attractively fresh; dense, crisp, sapid, aromatically complex, very long to taste, with tannins that are present but velvety and, like the C, remaining so throughout, gravel-tinged, packed with flavor, yet effortlessly graceful and complete, too, and very long and fresh to finish. Beautiful wine. 2028–50+. | 93–95
