Bruno Besa | Lively ruby to garnet. Clean, intense, complex, mineral nose, with red cherries, red oranges, crushed stone, hints of leather, sweet tobacco and spices. Medium body with sweet yet vibrant red-fruit palate. Refined tannins and red fruits give way to a long, complex, inviting finish. A great effort for medium-term cellaring. | 93

Andrew Jefford | Clear, translucent black-red. Soft, warm, sweet, and understated: an excellent aroma for this vintage, though not particularly focused or refined. Concentrated and well rounded, with gratifying redcurrant, plum, apple, and even autumn bramble fruits, beautifully coaxed toward full ripeness. Fine tannins, too. You can see the vintage constitution in the lack of overall resonance, the lack of palate length, and the seizing quality of the acidity, but this is still an impressive and harmonious wine of depth and breed. The tannins are outstanding for the vintage, full of aromatic qualities, giving the fruit real lyricism and distinction. | 93

Michael Palij | There is a lovely delicacy here, with notes of strawberry, yogurt, red cherry, vanilla, and spice that together contribute to a fascinating nose, albeit one that is dominated by secondary notes. These characteristics combine on the palate to produce a genuine tour de force, with complex fruit aromas, spicy oak aromas, and wonderful length, where the fruit is ably supported by the oak and acidity. | 96
