Simon Field | Attractive apricot-and-pear nose, ripe peach and a touch of elderflower. Lots of grace and matière, a lovely eloquent finish, robust and assertive. Long and lean, finely constructed. | 89
Andrew Jefford | Pale steel lemon-gold in color. Lots of spicy fruits here, but just a little bit simple in style. Almost a pineapple note here, though there is also apricot and some floral touches. Juicy, fresh, and relatively simple on the palate. | 81
John Livingstone-Learmonth | Steady yellow robe. A wax, beeswax aroma leads the nose, which is dense in the 2015 vein, a sun-swept offering here. There are nutty connotations, and it’s a genuine start. The palate is nicely and convincingly thorough, long, and sustained. It’s a true 2015, and well presented at that. It clamps together closely with apricot, plum touches in the flavor. Very wholesome Condrieu here. 2023–24. | 93
