Michael Edwards: Arresting evolving color. Certainly the taste of a perpetual cuvée, assembled over several years. Real class and complexity here, especially in textured mouthfeel; maturity, burgeoning complexity, seamless balance. | 94
Simon Field: Generous near-amber color. Evolved nose of biscuit and cashew; a note of preserved salted lemon on the palate underlines firm, poised acidity, while all around, complexity is garnered and emboldened by time in the glass; more vinous than strictly fizzy, long and subtly layered at the end—unassailably delicious. | 92
Anne Krebiechl: Deep gold, almost amber. Glimpses of dried apricot and aged Gouda reach the nose. There is also a distinct hint of grilled cashew alongside dried orange peel and baked apple. The palate allows glimpses of all of these notions, with wonderfully quiet sparkle. This is for advanced tastes, tertiary, layered, with a magnetic draw that offers something timeless and fascinating, something almost visceral. All this happens around a central shaft of pristine, irresistible freshness. The length is endless. | 97
