Michael Edwards: Pale healthy yellow; bubbles a bit quiet; citrus and orchard fruit (pear) sensations. Mousse better on the tongue, a touch of salinity and sense of a good lace, fresh with controlled evolution. | 90
Simon Field: Assertive mousse, a touch of sulfur, quick to dissipate. Fairly classic aromas of yellow fruit, apples, and youthful pear. The palate is broad and generous, spicy, too, with red fruit evidenced; slightly raw and iconoclastic on the attack; plenty of grip here, and assertive vinous appeal. Food- friendly, to be sure. Needs time. | 89
Anne Krebiechl: Softly golden color. Lemony shortbread and softer notes of buttery crumble on the nose have a notion of wet stone, but it is lifted freshness that forms the most lasting impression. That compact, balanced freshness forms both the backbone and the body of this, always remaining precise but hinting and teasing with the notion of a richer, aromatic hinterland informed by subtle honey, clover blossom. This is fresh and lively, with a vivid mousse and lovely, chalky depth. | 94
