Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Surprisingly ripe, warm aromas of rounded contour, though not in any way complex. On the palate, this is generous, warm, and bright—more roasted plums than cool blackcurrants. Gratifying and enjoyable wine for the short or medium term... and a remarkable mastery of the ripening cycle. A relatively short finish, but lots of fun along the way. 2018–23. | 88
Michael Schuster | Youthful and closed to smell; full, supple, finely tannic wine; an ample, juicy flavor of modest complexity and length, but a very satisfying presence; lovely, uncomplicated, come-hither claret. Better in a year or two. 2021–30+. | 89
