Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red. Big shovelfuls of blackcurrant and coal dust. Very pure, though there’s a cool cast from the vintage. It’s deeply fruity on the palate, satisfying and long, imprinted once again by the cool cast of the vintage, though devoid of green tones. 2018–23. | 89

Michael Schuster | Ripe-fruited Cabernet to smell, persistent; firmly tannic, gently chewy, classic Pauillac proportions; briskly ripe in fruit, a gentle complexity and nice length; good rather than special, slightly “chunky” in texture. 2024–36+. | 91
