Andrew Jefford | Very dark, near-opaque black-red in color. Lifted, refined currant and cherry scents: full ripeness here. Sweet and enticing, withatea-leaf edge. The wine is deep, pure, and alluring, with impressive depths, ripeness, weight, and density. Well-judged tannins, balanced acidity, and quiet but supportive oak, too, this is clearly better than many of its classed-growth peers. A fine buy for the vintage. 2018–23. | 89
Michael Schuster | Sweetly ripe to smell; full, fresh, and finely but firmly tannic; the tannins rather dominate the fruit for the moment, but this is still sweet-fruited to taste and with a nice persistence of flavor, both juicy and gravelly at once. However, it will certainly need plenty of time to really show its paces. 2026–35+. | 89
