Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red in color. Bottle one: Corked. Bottle two: Warm, fresh, enticing, this wine has by far the best aromatic profile of its flight of six junior Pauillacs: ripe blackcurrant and cherry fruits in simple but appetizing style. The palate, alas, is more simple still, in that the fruits have a rather constrained style—but overall the wine is still appetizing. Juicy and enjoyable for early drinking at the right price. 2018–21. | 86
Michael Schuster | Ripe-fruited nose; full, fresh, finely tannic; sweetly ripe, easy, and straightforward in flavor within a moderately firm tannin; juicily attractive, if with limited complexity, but a very nice lesser expression of Pauillac. 2020–30+. | 88
