Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red in color. Warm and rounded: a generalized glow, with simple fruits. Sweet and faintly earthy. This has slightly softer acidity than many of its Margaux counterparts, but it is also a relatively simple, straightforward wine without the intrinsic class of some of the classed-growth terroirs. 2018–21. | 84
Michael Schuster | Lightly gravel-marked, plummy ripe fruit aromas; a lovely balance, medium-full, quite rich, fresh, and with a very gentle tannin; ripe and generous in flavor, a gentle complexity across the palate, nice light aromatic length to finish. Not grand, of course, but complete and delicious. A lovely, seductive, gently fleshy Angludet. Remarkably accessible already, but with a decade and more in hand. Now to 2030+. | 90
