Andrew Jefford | Dark black red. Sweet, pure, teasing fruits: fine-grained, almost creamy blackcurrant. A very pretty nose. Lively and fresh-flavored, but super-cool in style, too (though happily ungreen); lovely concentration and poise. I can see the sheer balance of this wine giving it a slightly longer drinking pleasure than the acid-led profile might suggest. 2018–23. | 87
Michael Schuster | A touch of new oak still to the fore on the nose; light, fresh, flowing, very lightly oakily tannic, an attractive Margauxesque balance; easy, gently juicy, Merlot-flowing flavor, with length to taste, and good length to finish. A very attractive Cantemerle, good young and with the balance to last well, too. Will be easy and delicious, and gently classy. Lovely mid-rank claret. 2020–32+. | 90
