Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red. Vegetal notes among the fruits here, though not green in this case. But certainly less aromatic fruit purity than Cantemerle. Spicy, meaty touches. The palate is sound and satisfying, though true to the vintage profile: fresh, vivid, with more emphasis on acidity than tannin. Very fair weight and depth, though. An interesting contrast to Cantemerle, as that has all the poise and charm—but this has sturdier legs. 2018–23. | 87
Michael Schuster | A stylish blackcurrant-Cabernet-cored nose; very well balanced, elegant, fresh, and finely tannic; a subtle, sweetly and freshly ripe blackcurrant core, long and fine to taste, and with a fragrant, gravel marked length of aftertaste; nice depth, classy and harmonious, a tannin structure of considerable finesse but that will need a few years. Excellent. 2026–36+. | 92
