Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Relatively simple fruit scents of bright plum and a little hedgerow bramble: attractive and beguiling in a straightforward manner. It’s soft and a little bit soupy in style, with some lean fruit partnered, slightly oddly, with generous tannins. Satisfying to drink in the short term, and with plenty of Pomerol character, it just doesn’t seem a particularly successful effort at interpreting the vintage. 2018–21. | 86
Michael Schuster | Rich and plummy to smell; full, fresh, generous, and finely, firmly tannic balance; sappy ripe flavor, dense, long, and satisfying—plenty of matter for the year, a good length of flavor, but needing time to absorb the relatively firm tannins. This is certainly on the solid side for the property. 2024–34+. | 90
