Alison Buchanan: Tawny amber with a green-amber rim, this combines puff candy with candied citrus on the nose—rather engaging—with attractive vitality and gentle, complementary hints of tea. Tea is also reflected on the palate, which is relatively adroit, given the ripeness of fruit. There is energy and freshness and a seam of citrus and minerals throughout, giving a real sense of personality and focus, within caramelized, nutty fruit—long, praline finish. | 89

Andrew Jefford: Very light and pale, with the sun cascading through its russet-stained windows. Refined, enticing, and orangey scents; a rose sweetness behind. Light, tangy, graceful, and penetrating, still richly laden with perfumes; sweet, yet almost dry toward the end. An elegant, perfumed young fortified. | 89

Margaret Rand: Savory and grapey, lots of spice, pungent, concentrated, and long. Classic, fresh, good acidity, and that lovely grape-skins note on the nose that lifts it. | 89
