Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Very classical and homogenous in its form and tannin base, with great potential over 20 years. Tasted three times. | 94

Michael Schuster | An impression of great density on the nose; mirrored on the palate, which is rich, ample, fresh and very finely tannic; a generous, mouth-filling, and fleshy constitution, very long across the palate, complex, sapid, juicily ripe, but also very mineral in aromas, gratifying, and very long to finish. A splendid 2017, delightful wine, and very fine Pichon. Close to the more structured 2016 in quality but likely to be approachable earlier because of its more restrained tannin. A great quartet of wines here, from 2014 to 2017. 2030–45+. | 93–94
