Michael Schuster | A very nice perfume to smell, gently plummy, aromatic, floral; medium-full, vital in acidity, very fine-grained in tannin; crisply ripe in flavor, long, fresh, linear, elegant, that particular tastiness of the year, and with lovely mineral-backed, red-fruit length. A lighter, but very aromatic and fine Clinet. It might not, perhaps, be so much to the taste of those who want something bigger and fleshier from their Pomerols, but I think this is lovely. And it will drink from fairly early because its texture is so fine. 2026–40. | 91–93
