Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Spectacular, with brilliance and tension that draw it notably closer to Yquem. Tasted four times, always consistently. | 97

Michael Schuster | Light, fresh, minerally nose; very nicely balanced medium-full, moderately concentrated Sauternes, fresh in acidity; sweet, quite rich, with some complexity of flavor, aromatic, fine, and with excellent persistence. Very attractive, without quite being a top Lafaurie-Peyraguey on the basis of what I tasted. | 90–92
