Victoria Daskal | Warm, ripe, opulent, tropical fruit. Large frame, rich texture, full body underlined with a fine acidity. Ample fruit, but lacking complexity or finesse. | 85

Jamie Goode | Intriguing stuff. This has some sweet fruit characters on the nose, but in the mouth it’s all tension, minerality, and spicy citrus fruit. Shows lovely concentration and intensity, with a long spicy finish. | 95

Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. Lots of exciting spiced-fruit richness here: almost tropical fruits and rich, mellow honey, too, with a hint of clove charm. Hard not to sip after smelling this. The palate delivers very much what the nose promises: a rich, brocaded Chenin of great depth, wealth, and breadth. Although dry, it hints at sweetness right the way through the palate, and the aromatic presence and complexity never desert it. In fruit terms, we are definitely into tropical latitudes, but it’s all realized with such freshness and zest that it doesn’t cloy or sate in any way. Great work here. | 90
