BUY THE WINE

Victoria Daskal | Ripe, grilled pineapple, overt smoky aromas, and whiff of tropical floral bouquet just at the end. A very big, full-bodied wine, with toasty oak and ripe fruit. Everything is in proportion and well balanced, but nothing is subtle. | 92

Jamie Goode | Vivid, fruity, and bright, with some grapefruit pith and lively lemony fruit. Perhaps a little square and phenolic, but with fresh fruit characters and good acidity. Simple. | 88

Andrew Jefford | Pale silver-green. Moist, soft, early-season orchard fruits: apples and pears. Clean and fresh on the palate, very much leading with those same orchard-fruit notes; dry, fresh, long. Not hugely characterful in and of itself, but this is a wine that would work well at table and still be satisfying and enticing when showier Sauvignons had begun to pall. | 88
