BUY THE WINE

Victoria Daskal | Particularly green on the nose. Full-bodied and fleshy, with brisk acidity but too much bitterness on the finish. | 80

Jamie Goode | This has a lot of concentration and weight, with slightly green herbal notes lurking under a wall of sweet pear fruit. Spicy, with some fig notes adding richness to the fruity palate, and maybe some sweet dates, too. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Clear mid-gold. Rather rough, raw scents of rough-cut apple. Herbaceous, too. I appreciate that we are into a different style, but this is not an attractive nose. Very confected on the palate, too: sweet-and-sour stuff with a big whack of methoxypyrazines. An unpleasant wine that I couldn’t drink with any pleasure. | 74
