Bruno Besa | Garnet to light orange. Open, clean, elegant nose of red apples, dried nuts, smoked meat, and rosewater. Balanced palate, with sweet red and black fruit, restrained and fairly long to finish. | 92
Stephen Brook | Poised and piquant nose, with cranberry and raspberry aromas, floral, too. Silky attack, but as usual it’s deceptive, because the tannins soon kick in. But those tannins seem exceptionally fine and enhanced by the elegant acidity. A real complexity and polish is developing here, with all the elements in place and beginning to express themselves persuasively. Very long and lifted finish. | 95
Andrew Jefford | Light, bright, and clear. Fresh, earthy, vegetal: more emphasis on forest complexities than sweet primary fruit here. Fine-drawn, resonant, and sustained aromas. Graceful, poised, and fresh: well aged and now fine-textured flavors in which ripe, savory fruit mingles with lively, fresh (almost green) acidity and subtle tannic wealth. Excellent wine of poise and sophistication. | 93
