Bruno Besa | Garnet to orange. Open, earthy, white-truffle nose, with small red fruits, porcini mushrooms, and rose petals. Medium to full body, with a balanced, sweet, small red fruits palate. Long and clean on the finish. | 94
Stephen Brook | Fairly light color. Attractively floral nose, with sweet currant and berry aromas. Good attack, sleek and fresh, with considerable vibrancy and sweetness of fruit. The tannins are well handled, supporting rather than overwhelming the fruit, which has admirable purity. Beautiful balance and texture here, seamless and stylish. Concentrated but accessible, and should age effortlessly. Long finish. | 94
Andrew Jefford | Deep, limpid black-red. Murky scents, with slightly tiring fruit and some apparent oxidation: some toffee notes. On the palate, the wine is better than this rather troubled aromatic profile suggested: broad, open, full, with attractive ripeness and an impressive balance. The tannins, too, are glowing and well managed. With a finer aromatic profile, this enjoyable wine would have managed a higher score. | 88
