Bruno Besa | Garnet to light tawny. Closed yet elegant nose, nuts and small-red-fruits, with hints of violets. Medium body, fairly balanced yet a touch simple on the red-fruit finish. | 86
Stephen Brook | Stylish raspberry nose, poised and elegant. This has a delicate attack, but it’s sleek and poised, with admirable balance and persistence. It’s not very complex or structured, but it has charm and finesse. Moderate length. | 88
Andrew Jefford | Clear, open, and translucent red. Warm, rich, softly composty aromas, with lots of sweet fruits behind: enticing and grand, with much more density and resonance than many of its peers. Elegant, articulate, resonant, warm, and satisfying, with very ripe fruit... Yet the fruit is still there, supporting and lifting all of those secondary notes. A super 2012, with lots of unusually voluptuous pleasure inscribed inside it. Absolute classicism, too. This is not a wine built for the longest haul, but you could enjoy a bottle tonight and any time over the next decade and you will not feel short-changed. | 93
