Nicolas Belfrage: Very “Barolo” color, with garnet rim. Attractive perfumed nose. A let-down, however, on the palate; loose structure, a bit off-pitch. Drinking now; may improve but is unlikely to be dramatic- 13:

Bruno Besa: Tawny core to orange, brick rim. Open, clean but fairly simple nose of small red fruits, roses, and hints of oriental spices. Full body, astringent, rustic palate. Unbalanced wine that may improve with age- 14:

Jancis Robinson: Lots of color development. Mid-ruby with a rusty rim. Light but alluring and growing leaf-mold nose. Sappy fruit and then a suitably muscular framework. Certainly not plump but very correct, with a dry finish. Attractive lift and life. Drink 2016–25- 17 :
