Simon Field: Pleasing nose, rich and densely fruity. Unabashedly youthful, and on the palate it seems almost too precocious, the approachable, creamy fruit not inevitably supported by intimations of a satisfactory maturity. Pleasant enough, however. 16.5

Richard Mayson: Strange, slightly metallic nose and flavour. Lacks flesh, and a rather lean, edgy finish. Hard. 12

Jancis Robinson: Purplish crimson. Neat, very clean, but very slightly wimpy. Sweet, almost raisiny, then very dry, sandy tannins. Only medium intensity - a bit of a hole in the middle. 12
