Michael Schuster: Inky. Very ripe, almost gamey Merlot fruit to smell. Fairly full, fairly concentrated, with a fresh acidity and firm tannin. A pure, sweet, long and fleshy, juicy-cored flavour – warm, exotically spicy, chocolaty Merlot. Ample, elegant and with excellent fruit length. 100% Merlot, 100% new oak (which doesn’t show), 930 cases. Very good garage-style wine, made by the owners of Beau-Séjour-Bécot. 16.5
