Michel Bettane: Excellent color, rich, very ripe, very Merlot, slightly hot in alcohol, impressive for tasting but lacking balance for drinking, even if very well made. 16

Thierry Desseauve: Dark color, black and blue berries, rich and taught body, ripe tannins, powerful but elegant too. Excellent but we must wait five or ten years. 17

Michael Schuster: Black color, dense and sweet and super-ripe to smell; rich, generous, firmly tannic; very concentrated, sweet fruit, of a moderate complexity, framed by a very dry new-oak tannin; good length, texturally severe. A question of style, which is good if that is what you like. Not for me! 2016–28. 16.5
