BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A well-oaked, very elegant wine with exquisitely pure aromas, good length and impeccable balance. 17

Margaret Rand: An elegant wine, without enormous power or concentration, but attractive. 15

Michael Schuster: Subtle oak, mineral and honey nose. Elegantly balanced wine with a lively acidity. Intensely sweet, long, linear, succulently rich and well-sustained flavour; noble-rot spicy and very long to finish. An excellent Lafaurie. 17.5
