Michael Schuster: Turbid pale gold; lemon zest/lemon cordial nose; still a touch of CO2 on the palate; rich, concentrated, and vigorous, but not in any way heavy; intensely sweet, vivid, citrus and mineral flavor, long, lively, fresh and refined across the palate, with a marked minerality and superb mineral and citrus fragrant length. Barsac fresh and vital, with a surprising lightness of touch given its richness. Splendid Nairac, which should be delicious almost from the moment it is bottled! 2012–40+. 17.5/18
