Alison Buchanan: The nose of this intensely coloured sample is extraordinarily decadent, rich in leather and tobacco, as well as violets, mocha and exotic spice. The palate is an extravagant rendition of the same; very aromatic, silk-textured, and spiced. This is beautifully weighted and poised. 19

Jancis Robinson: Purple. Spiky, spicy, honeysuckle fruits. Lovely, warm, ripe, rich fruit, crisp tannins, excellent balance, lovely finish. Not complex but delicious. 15

Jeremy Watson: Lovely, fruity wine that is a very good drink, but I do not find anything special. 14
