Alison Buchanan: Pale gold. Honey and vanilla dominate the nose; butterscotch. Smells too lactic and buttery versus vinous to be hugely appealing on the nose. Similarly buttery on the palate – not my style. Pity, there are good ingredients there: apples, stone fruits and a creamy richness, but the latter has just been taken to excess. 12

Nicolas Belfrage: Pale. A little flat on the nose with dry fruit of some interest on palate; warm and drinkable. No great length; a superior glugger. 13.5

Alex Hunt: Clean, vaguely creamy, generally nondescript nose. More interest on the palate, with attractive spiced-pear fruit and good length. 13.5
